Job summary

AHC Hospitality seeks a Banquet Cook to assist the banquet kitchen with daily hot and cold prep, and to prepare, set up and service meals for the employee cafeteria and 3rd shift associate meals. The role requires stamina, creativity and a pleasant demeanor for interactions with guests and staff.

You will follow JW Marriott brand standards, safety protocols and maintain high quality in all dishes while minimizing waste and ensuring timely service during events.

Qualifications

• Previous culinary experience of at least one year in a banquet kitchen or high-volume kitchen.
• Able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.
• Solid display of safe handling knife skills and basic kitchen equipment handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Banquet Kitchens in daily prep including hot and cold preparations.
• Prepare, set up and service employee cafeteria meals and 3rd shift associate meals.
• Ensure foods are properly labeled, dated, stored, and delivered to meeting rooms on time.
• Maintain sanitary service areas and adhere to safety protocols for all kitchen stations.
• Display food attractively and follow quality standards for meats, vegetables, dairy and grains.
• Attend departmental meetings and follow JW Marriott brand standards and kitchen SOPs.
