Cotton Culinary is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team during large-scale events. You’ll assist with meal prep, dishwashing, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness, while upholding food safety standards.

Travel to multiple job sites (50-75%) and collaboration with event crews are essential. The role is temporary and ideal for someone with 1–2 years of kitchen experience who is reliable and detail-oriented.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of kitchen experience.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Able to travel 50–75% of the time.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Experience as server, dishwasher, or in kitchen sanitation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, plating, and service for large-scale events.
• Perform general kitchen duties such as dishwashing, sanitizing surfaces, and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Support catering operations by organizing and transporting food items and supplies to various locations.
• Set up and break down kitchen areas for banquets, ensuring tools and equipment are cleaned and stored.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen cleanliness per company policies.
• Assist in stocking and organizing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
• Travel to various job sites to assist in catering operations with the culinary team.
