THE JOB:

The Banquet Houseperson is responsible for completing the set-up of all meeting rooms and event areas to the specifications of the guest. Ensures the correct and timely set-up of all functions.

Requirements

• One year experience as Banquet Houseperson/Event Houseperson
• Possess a basic knowledge of the banquet department operations
• Ability to serve needs of guests through verbal face-to-face interactions.
• Must demonstrate positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Requires communication and interpersonal skills and commitment to a high level of guest satisfaction.
• Ability to stand, walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift, move, pull, and push moderate amounts of weight.
• Ability to work on AM, PM, weekend, and holiday shifts as required by operational needs.
• Experience within a hotel/resort environment.
