Job summary

Performance Hospitality Management (PHM) is seeking a Banquet Houseperson in Orlando to support room setup, turnover, and event execution. You will read BEOs/diagrams, arrange furniture and décor, and ensure spaces meet safety and cleanliness standards for weddings, meetings, and professional gatherings.

The role requires physical stamina to lift 50–75 lbs, flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays, and basic AV familiarity to coordinate with the AV team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and strike room per BEOs, including tables, chairs, risers, and décor.
• Move equipment using carts/dollies; track inventory of linens, skirting, and signage.
• Keep storage areas organized; assist with monthly inventories.
• Maintain cleanliness of spaces and assist with linen staging.
• Place/strike basic AV; coordinate with AV team for basic setups.
• Uphold safety and sanitation; follow OSHA/sanitation guidelines and fire code.
• Assist guest planners and collaborate with Banquet Captains, Culinary, and Engineering.

The Banquet Houseperson sets the stage—literally.
