MGM Resorts International in Atlantic City, New Jersey, is seeking a Banquet Server to set the stage for guest experiences with a welcoming smile and attentive service. You will own the guest journey to create WOW memories during events and functions.

Responsibilities include guiding guests, maintaining cleanliness, understanding detailed menu requirements, seating, and coordinating catering services. Flexibility to work varied shifts and holidays is required for this role.

Qualificações

• 1+ year of prior server experience in a similar high-volume environment.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Guide guests through all phases of their experience at the banquet event.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
• Be knowledgeable of service requirements for the function: pre-function side work, menu selections, ingredients, appearance, texture, quality, garnish and presentation.
• Greet guests on arrival and assist with seating at tables.
• Set up, monitor, refresh and breakdown coffee breaks, receptions and buffets per group requirements.
• Follow the Banquet Management Team's standardized service procedures.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly.

THE JOB:

As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for setting the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Guide guest in all phases of their experience at the Banquet event
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
• Knowledgeable of service requirements for assigned function such as: pre-function side work, detailed menu selections, major ingredients, appearance, texture, quality standards, garnish and method of presentation, proper food and beverage service
• Greet guest as they arrive and assist them with seating at tables
• Set up, monitor, refresh and breakdown coffee break, reception and buffet tables for specified functions according to group requirements
• Follow sequence of service utilizing all proper procedures standardized by the Banquet Management Team
• Anticipate the guest needs and respond promptly

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience as a server in a similar, high-volume environment
• Preferred
• Required to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

Pay Rate:

The rate for this role is: $12.30

This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.

Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
