Job summary

Spire Hospitality, LLC is seeking a Banquet Server for Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport, a full-time role in Burbank, CA. You will set up banquet rooms, deliver food and beverages, and maintain outstanding guest service in a fast-paced events environment.

Responsibilities include preparing banquets per BEO, ensuring table cleanliness, restocking supplies, and resetting spaces between events, with service fees supplementing hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 year Banquet Server experience in a similar role, size of operation preferred.
• Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required
• Food Handlers Certification required
• Food Service certification may be required as applicable

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness
• Thoughtfully prepare banquet tables with the perfect setup as detailed in the Banquet Event Order (BEO) to create an inviting and memorable experience
• Deliver guests' food and beverage with enthusiasm, regularly revisit table to ensure beverages are filled and ensure guest satisfaction
• After each function, reset the banquet room as specified in the BEO or per given instructions to ensure it's perfectly prepared for the next event
• Ensure the banquet facilities are impeccably organized after each event by replenishing and properly storing all condiments and supplies
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all banquet facilities.

Job Overview

Set up of Banquet Room and serve food and/or beverages in a friendly, courteous and professional manner according to high standards of quality.

Compensation

$17.00/ Hour + Service fees

Physical Demands

• Kneel, stoop, grasp, lift and carry, and transport 50 – 75lbs
• Manual dexterity of hands to use food and beverage equipment
• Work most of the shift standing and moving about in the meeting spaces and kitchen areas

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or its equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 3 year Banquet Server experience in a similar role, size of operation preferred
• Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required
• Food Handlers Certification required
• 3 years banquet service experience
