Job summary

OTO Development is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead banquet and catering operations, coordinating with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely, high-quality events. This role emphasizes guest satisfaction, sanitation, and cost control.

The position reports to the Food & Beverage Manager and requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a professional appearance to uphold the hotel's hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee the setup of meeting spaces for banquet and catering events to ensure compliance with banquet event orders with optimal level of service, quality and hospitality.
• Work with and supervise kitchen staff on the timing of food preparation to ensure meals are ready on time and served visually.
• Supervise and direct the prompt, efficient and friendly serving of all food and beverage for banquets and gallery.
• Work closely with the Sales Team to ensure clients are happy with all aspects of their events including room set up, F&B service, A/V functions and food quality.
• Meet with the clients on the day of event to review the Banquet Event Order and any changes to ensure delivery of a quality product.
• Welcome guests and monitor the dining area during meal time to ensure adequate supplies and guest needs are met.
• Follow required sanitation procedures for food handling safety and maintain relevant certificates.
• Assist in ordering of food and beverage items as well as controlling cost and waste.
• Assist with scheduling staff.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to guest questions or concerns.
• Assist in the selection, training and development of team members.
• Resolve operation issues promptly and ensure proper follow-through with the team.
• Monitor and control maintenance/sanitation of Banquet areas and equipment.
• Maintain professional appearance at all times.
• Assist with gallery host/front desk responsibilities as needed.
