Job summary

The Marcus Corporation is seeking a Banquet Server to assist in coordinating and delivering food and beverage experiences for guests. You will set up tables, prepare stations, and serve beverages according to Marcus Hotels and Resorts and Marriott standards.

Reliable, detail-oriented individuals with strong guest service and communication skills are encouraged to apply. The role requires the ability to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to lift up to 30

Qualifications

• No experience required; hospitality/customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to respond quickly and accurately to guest requests.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to stand/move continuously and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must obtain Lancaster County Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service Training Certification.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables with china, silverware and service equipment per EO; break down banquet rooms as directed.
• Service of food and beverages to guests per Marcus Hotels/Resorts and Marriott standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet rooms, public areas, and storage spaces.
• Communicate with captains, supervisors and managers; respond to guest requests promptly.
