Job summary

Dreamscape Hospitality is seeking an On-Call Banquet Server to join our events team in Columbus, OH. You will work with the Banquet Set Up Team and Kitchen Staff to deliver prompt, courteous food service during assigned banquets.

Responsibilities include setting up function spaces, serving and clearing courses, and maintaining guest satisfaction while supporting other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up for functions to include draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks and centerpieces.
• Serve food and beverages, carry trays to function locations and clear tables.
• Break down and bussing, clean back hall and organize storerooms.
• Assist with event room setup according to meal period and table needs.
• Provide warm and sincere welcome/farewell for guests and address guest needs promptly.
• Monitor tables for guest satisfaction and assist other staff as needed.
