Dreamscape Hospitality in Columbus, OH is seeking a Full Time Banquet Set Up role to prepare event spaces for weddings, conferences and other gatherings. You will arrange tables, chairs, linens, decor, and AV equipment according to layout specifications, keeping areas clean and organized for guests.

This position requires physical stamina, flexibility to work evenings/weekends/holidays, and ability to follow diagrams, coordinate with event staff, and respond to last‑minute changes while

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in banquet setup, hospitality, or event coordination is a plus.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy furniture and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow event diagrams or instructions.
• Time management and efficiency.
• Communication and teamwork.
• Problem-solving to address unexpected challenges.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Set up tables, chairs, linens, and tableware based on event layout and instructions.
• Arrange decor, centerpieces, and signage as specified.
• Prepare audio-visual equipment, including microphones, projectors, and screens.
• Ensure the banquet area is clean and free of debris before and after events.
• Break down and store furniture, equipment, and decorations after events.
• Report any damages or maintenance needs to management.
• Work with event coordinators and supervisors to understand setup requirements.
• Respond to last-minute changes or adjustments to layouts and event needs.
