Auberge Collection at Kiawah River on Johns Island, SC, is seeking a Banquet Server to orchestrate unforgettable dining experiences for events and special occasions.

You will connect with the Banquet Captain or Lead to review the BEO, count equipment, set tables to standards, and assist with moving and breakdown as needed.

A professional appearance, reliable timeliness, and the ability to work weekends/holidays are essential, along with necessary state alcohol and food-safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Superior professional appearance and manner, able to work in a fast-paced team.
• Ability to adhere to timelines in set-ups.
• Able to follow instructions verbally and in writing.
• Able to obtain state and local certifications such as food handlers or alcohol training.

Responsibilities

• Review BEO with Banquet Captain or Leader.
• Review, count and ensure equipment readiness (flatware, glassware, china, buffet gear, rental items).
• Set tables according to event type and service standards; include linens, glassware, plates, silverware.
• Assist with moving banquet equipment for setup and breakdown.
• Answer questions on BEO menu selections; seek clarification as needed from Banquet Captain or culinary staff.
• Welcome guests with a warm, professional greeting and engage them positively throughout the event.
• Anticipate needs, resolve concerns per brand standards, and relay information to Banquet Leadership.
• Communicate special requests, dietary needs, and allergy information to kitchen; thank guests with a fond farewell.
