Job summary

Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando is seeking an experienced Banquet Operations Assistant to support Banquet Managers, coordinate events and ensure guest satisfaction. You will liaise with conference guests, update BEOs, and help set up and maintain meeting spaces.

The role involves coordinating with multiple hotel departments, handling catering requests, and assisting on-site with weddings when needed. Strong organizational skills and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in hospitality or administrative roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with POS & Staffmate scheduling system preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Answers department phone lines and fields inquiry calls to Banquets, Catering or Conference Managers.
• Prepares catering packets for clients and assists in Banquet Event Orders.
• Transmits group resume and BEO information to other hotel departments.
• Maintain the BEO bible and ensure accuracy of updates.
• Walkthrough meeting space and coordinate maintenance with Engineering/Banquets.
• Coordinate wedding/local tastings and package deliveries for group clients.
