Job summary

Inn-At-Middletown is seeking a detail-oriented banquet staff member to support the setup and preparation of meeting and event spaces, ensuring they are welcoming and organized according to event specifications. You will arrange tables, chairs, linens, staging, decor, and AV equipment, while working with supervisors and culinary teams to deliver polished guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in banquet, hospitality, or event setup preferred.
• Ability to lift, move, and arrange equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality presentation.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare banquet rooms and spaces according to event orders and floor plans.
• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, staging, and other equipment.
• Set up AV, décor, signage, and related materials when applicable.
• Ensure spaces are clean, organized, and ready before guest arrival.
• Assist with moving and positioning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support timely transitions between events, including reset and breakdown of rooms.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, culinary teams, and event staff.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
