Job summary

Margaritaville Resort Orlando is seeking a Banquet Set-Up Attendant to join our team. This role prepares, arranges, and resets banquet and meeting spaces for events while delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring all event spaces are properly configured according to banquet event orders (BEOs) and that guests experience seamless and memorable events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous banquet, hospitality, food and beverage, or event setup experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet rooms, meeting spaces, and event venues per Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
• Arrange tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, podiums, linens, skirting, and equipment.
• Ensure rooms are set accurately and completed within required timelines.
• Inspect event spaces for cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Assist with room resets and venue conversions between events.
• Transport and properly store banquet equipment and supplies.
• Maintain inventory of banquet equipment and report damaged or missing items.
• Support banquet service staff during events as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures when lifting, moving, and storing equipment.
• Communicate effectively with Banquet Managers, Event Managers, and other departments regarding event requirements.
• Respond promptly to last-minute event changes and adjustments.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous service to guests and fellow Team Members.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
