Job summary

Margaritaville Resort Orlando is seeking a motivated Banquet Set-Up Attendant to prepare, arrange, and reset banquet and meeting spaces for events. You will ensure configurations follow BEOs and deliver exceptional guest experiences, while maintaining cleanliness and organization.

This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move tables, chairs, and equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Banquet, hospitality, food and beverage, or event setup experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet rooms, meeting spaces, and event venues according to BEOs.
• Arrange tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, podiums, linens, skirting, and other equipment.
• Ensure rooms are set accurately and completed within required timelines.
• Inspect event spaces before/during/after events for cleanliness and presentation.
• Assist with room resets and venue conversions between events.
• Transport and properly store banquet equipment and supplies.
• Maintain inventory of banquet equipment and report damaged or missing items.
• Support banquet service staff during events as needed.
• Follow safety procedures when lifting, moving, and storing equipment.
• Communicate with Banquet Managers, Event Managers, and other departments about requirements.
