Job summary

Opal Sol is seeking a Banquet Set-Up Attendant to prepare and set up banquet rooms for events, ensuring spaces meet client specifications. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work as part of a team to create a seamless event experience.

Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down events, moving and arranging equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet or event setup experience preferred
• Familiarity with basic event equipment and safety protocols is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs and move heavy items

Responsibilities

• Setup and breakdown of all meetings and events in indoor and outdoor spaces
• Clean banquet rooms, hallways, storage areas, and service areas
• Set up tables, transport tables and equipment, tear down and clean spaces after events
• Maintain condition and safe storage of banquet equipment
• Respond to guest requests and ensure customer satisfaction
