Job summary

JW Marriott Las Vegas is seeking a Banquet House Attendant to assist with setting up and breaking down banquet rooms, arranging tables and chairs, and ensuring equipment and linens meet luxury presentation standards.

You will maintain clean, organized banquet spaces, support banquet servers and captains during events, and uphold safety and hospitality policies while working flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous banquet or event setup preferred.
• Skills: Clear English communication; attention to detail; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; organized and reliable; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications with tables, chairs, linens and décor.
• Ensure spaces are immaculate and meet luxury presentation standards.
• Maintain storage areas and banquet equipment cleanliness and organization.
• Assist in replenishing supplies and maintaining inventory levels.
• Support banquet servers and captains during events by clearing tables and resetting.
• Break down and reset rooms promptly after events for efficient turnover.
• Handle equipment with care and comply with safety policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
