Job summary

Hilton Dallas/Plano Granite Park is seeking a banquet server to assist in setup and breakdown of event spaces and to serve food and/or beverages to guests in a courteous, professional manner. The role requires adapting to varying shifts due to 24/7 hotel operations and supporting Banquet Captain directives.

You will greet guests, replenish beverages, clear dishes, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout events. Prior related hospitality experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor regulations.
• Hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards and guest etiquette.
• Knowledge of table settings and service ware.
• English language sufficient to understand inquiries and give instructions.
• Ability to apply product labeling instructions for safe handling.
• Ability to promote menu items and operate beverage equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set up and breakdown of banquet spaces as directed.
• Attend pre-event stand up meetings to learn function specifics.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a courteous manner.
• Serve food and beverages per Banquet Captain expectations.
• Bus dishes and replenish beverages; ensure guest satisfaction.
• Reset banquet rooms for subsequent events as directed by supervisors.
• Perform side work and restock banquet supplies as needed.
• Maintain health standards and adhere to safety procedures.
