Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management’s team seeks a Banquet Server to assist with event setup and breakdown, greet guests, and serve food and beverages to high standards. This role requires attention to detail, flexibility for varied shifts, and a customer-focused approach.

This position involves maintaining sanitation, following safety rules, and collaborating with the Banquet Captain to execute memorable events at the Intercontinental Kansas City Country Club Plaza.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor regulations for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handler Card and basic food/beverage knowledge.
• Understanding of proper table settings and service ware.
• Proficient English for customer inquiries and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room with linen, service ware and glassware as directed.
• Attend function briefings and greet guests in a courteous manner.
• Serve food and/or beverages according to Banquet Captain's standards.
• Bus dishes, replenish beverages, and check guest satisfaction.
• Clear and reset rooms between events; restock supplies as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
