Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking an on-call banquet attendant to assist with event setup, service and breakdown in Kansas City, MO. You will work under the Banquet Captain, greeting guests, serving food and beverages, and ensuring high standards of hospitality throughout each function.

You must follow liquor regulations, maintain cleanliness, and help with room resets and side work as needed. This role supports team success and guest satisfaction at the hotel’s banquet events.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
• Hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette.
• Ability to understand simple inquiries in English and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room with linen, service ware and glassware as described in the event order.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Serve food and beverages per Banquet Captain's instructions to ensure consistency.
• Bus dishes, replenish beverages, and check guest satisfaction throughout the event.
• Reset banquet rooms after functions and prepare for next event as directed.
