Job summary

Meridian Restaurant and Bar at Headlands Coastal Lodge and Spa is seeking a part-time Banquet Server. You will deliver memorable experiences, coordinate day-of operations, and ensure the BEO plan is followed for events.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work Banquet events.
• Must have prior food service experience, preferably in a fine dining establishment.
• Obtain a Food Handler’s Card and O.L.C.C. Permit.
• Must be available for morning shifts.
• Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills.
• Speak, read, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Maintain a tactful, courteous attitude with managers, guests, and peers.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth event execution.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the promised experience to the group being served.
• Oversee day-of operations; inform BOH and FOH of event details.
• Ensure BEO plan is executed and changes are carried out.
• Be the main event-day contact and coordinate with the group.
• Escalate major issues to the manager on duty for resolution.
• Adapt duties for event size, contactless or team-led scenarios.
• Provide clear direction to FOH and BOH teams on roles.
• Maintain clean, organized event areas and banquet storage.
• Assist with administrative tasks like BEOs, menus, and inventory.
• Occasionally work split shifts, mornings, nights, weekends, holidays.
