Job summary

Doubletree by Hilton, Aurora is seeking a Banquet Bartender to elevate weddings and events with hospitality. You’ll greet guests, verify ages, take drink orders, suggest menu items, and serve beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the event.

Maintain the bar area, process payments, and follow safety policies while coordinating with a diverse team. Must be 21+, with prior bartending experience preferred and liquor certification as required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Prior bartending experience preferred.
• Alcohol certification as required by law.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, verify age, and take drink orders.
• Suggest menu items, answer questions, and engage with guests.
• Serve beverages responsibly, adhering to regulations.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and anticipate needs.
• Maintain and clean the bar area, including stocking and setup.
• Prepare and serve beverages per company recipes.
• Process payments and manage cash drops.
• Follow company policies and communicate with managers and guests.
• Obtain and maintain liquor certification as required.
• Embrace company culture and perform additional duties as needed.
