Job summary

Sage Hospitality Group, The Benson Hotel & Faculty Club in Aurora, CO, seeks a kitchen team member to ensure proper service from the front line through quality control and sanitation. The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to recipes, and efficiency across the dining operations.

Responsibilities include following recipe cards, monitoring line setup, maintaining clean facilities, and assisting in inventory and buffets while working mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related kitchen experience.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to work as a team member and communicate with kitchen staff.
• Knowledge of cooking and the practices and procedures of a kitchen to perform non-repetitive analytical work.

Responsibilities

• Check all items against recipe cards and ensure use records are followed with quality presentation.
• Monitor line setup to maximize efficiency during meal periods.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to SOP for sanitation and
• Prepare food following recipe cards and production standards.
• Start and stage items to meet estimated needs and rotate perishables as per SOP.
• Assist in keeping buffet stocked and manage storage of unused items.
