Job summary

Big Cedar Lodge is seeking a Banquet Cook to assist in preparing and presenting meals for banquets, cooking for various group sizes, and supporting banquet kitchen operations on a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities include planning and monitoring production, maintaining quality, and collaborating with the Banquet Chef on menu development. Candidates should have at least one year of culinary experience and be able to handle high-volume catering environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year culinary background.
• Strong cooking background and experience with large volume.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plans, monitors and assists with food production and ensure its quality and consistency during preparation and service execution.
• Provides exceptional guest service through careful execution and immaculate presentation of food and beverage.
• Assists in daily kitchen operations and ensure its culinary readiness for service.
• Assists in developing menu in collaboration with Banquet Chef as needed.
