Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in a professional kitchen.
• Banquet, catering, hotel, or high-volume culinary experience preferred.
• Knowledge of professional cooking techniques, proper seasoning, cooking temperatures, and food safety practices.
• Strong knife skills and the ability to prepare ingredients efficiently and consistently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute banquet menu items for plated dinners, buffets, receptions, breaks, and events.
• Produce high-quality proteins, seafood, vegetables, starches, sauces, soups, and desserts per recipes.
• Assist with large-volume production while maintaining quality and presentation standards.
• Prepare mise en place and keep work areas organized and stocked.
• Follow banquet orders, production sheets, and chef direction for accurate execution.
• Support setup, replenishment, and breakdown of buffets and food stations.
