Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is seeking a Banquet Cook 1 to support our culinary team as the senior line cook, reporting to the Chef de Partie. The role demands craftsmanship, efficiency, and passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a luxury setting.

The candidate should have a culinary degree (preferred) and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with advanced knife skills and a collaborative mindset to thrive on the team.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years culinary or related work experience.
• Advanced knife skills and ability to multi-task.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule required.
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
• Effective reading, writing, and verbal communication.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare consistent quality food and pastry items according to guest orders.
• Start items prepared ahead of time to avoid excess.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment (fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, etc.).
• Date and rotate food, follow health policies.
• Control food cost, minimize waste.
• Maintain sanitation and proper temperatures.
• Complete mise en place and set-up station for service.
