Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cook in high-volume food service, hotel, or convention center settings.
• Culinary certification preferred and food handler certification may be required.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Execute large-scale food production for banquets, concessions, and catered events.
• Maintain consistency, quality, and portion control during peak service periods.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Properly store, label, and rotate food products following FIFO guidelines.
• Assist with prep work, inventory management, and station setup/breakdown.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times.
• Collaborate with chefs and team members to ensure timely event execution.
• Adapt quickly to changing event schedules and operational needs.
