Roberts Centre Conference Center in Wilmington, OH is seeking a Banquet Cook to prepare, cook, and present high-quality food for banquet events, conferences, weddings, and large functions. You will work with the culinary team to execute menus, maintain sanitation and food safety, and deliver exceptional guest satisfaction during fast-paced events.

The role requires teamwork, ability to follow recipes and production schedules, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in culinary, restaurant, banquet, hotel, or catering preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes, production schedules, and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and banquet specifications.
• Assist with production of food for conferences, weddings, corporate meetings, social events, and special functions.
• Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and quality standards for all food produced.
• Coordinate with chefs and banquet staff to ensure timely execution of events.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with regulations.
• Maintain inventory and operate kitchen equipment safely.
