Job Description

Provide high-quality standards and procedures in preparing/serving food for banquets and hotel outlets.

Responsibilities

  1. Maintain kitchen sanitation in accordance with health department guidelines.
  2. Ensure stations are set for service 15 minutes prior to service.
  3. Learn all menu items produced by assigned station.
  4. Perform work assignments to meet proper quantities within a necessary time frame.
  5. Prepare a mixture of buffet and plated style items.
  6. Produce orders including grilling, roasting, and baking fish, steaks, chicken, and shellfish.
  7. Maintain safe food handling procedures at all times.

Qualifications

  1. Advanced knife skills required.
  2. Prior culinary experience required.
  3. Familiarity with all cooking techniques.
  4. Knowledge of batch and quantity cooking.
  5. Ability to multi-task.
  6. Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  7. Food Handlers certification required.
