Job summary

Paycom - ATS at Union Station Curio in St. Louis, MO, is hiring for an experienced culinary production role. This full-time position requires strong knife skills, food safety knowledge, and the ability to work quickly and accurately in multiple areas.

You will follow sanitation procedures, maintain hygiene, and uphold FIFO guidelines. Candidates should have 3+ years of culinary production experience and reliable, punctual work habits.

Responsibilities

• Follow all department and or company policies and procedures
• Support and treat all fellow associates, hotel leadership and hotel guests with respect
• Ensure FIFO (First In First Out) guidelines are constantly being practiced
• Stand for long periods of time which could include an entire shift
• Ability to safely and frequently lift, carry push or pull items up to 50 pounds
• Ensure proper personal hygiene at all times to include but not limited to; grooming, bathing, trimmed and neat nails, proper and frequent hand washing at all appropriate times (i.e. restrooms, smoking, touching of body parts, task changes etc)
• Follow proper local area and corporate sanitation procedures in regards to area and or kitchen cleanliness at all times including “clean as you go”
• All food safety procedures and guidelines are retained and strictly followed at all times
• Report maintenance issues as they arise to culinary leadership
