The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a high-volume restaurant, is detail-oriented, communicates well, and can lift up to 30 pounds. Responsibilities include prep, station setup, and coordinating with chefs during service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1 year experience in high-volume, professional restaurant setting.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Strong kitchen administration knowledge and teamwork ability.
• Excellent organization and active listening skills.
• Able to stand long hours and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Availability during peak times, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain state sanitation/health regulations and hotel requirements.
• Meet with Head Chef/Sous Chef to review tasks and schedules.
• Set up workstation with required tools, equipment and supplies; ensure cleanliness.
• Start prep work for daily menu items and organize prep items for service.
• Inform Chef/Sous Chef of shortages and coordinate with F&B staff on specials.
• Coordinate with team during busy periods to ensure optimal service for guests.
• Return items to storage, wrap and label, clean prep areas and restock.
