Omni Hotels & Resorts in San Diego seeks a skilled cook to prepare banquet meals to Omni standards. You will work across stations, apply diverse cooking methods, and maintain high quality during peak service.

Competenze

• Knowledge of cooking techniques including braising, sautéing, baking, roasting, poaching, grilling, steaming and frying.
• Solid knife skills and safe handling of kitchen tools.
• Ability to read and execute basic recipes for hot or cold items.
• Basic math skills for recipes and measurements.
• Experience in high-volume hotel or catering environment; ServeSafe preferred.
• Able to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand long hours.
