Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Production Cook to lead banquet kitchen operations. You will manage all prep and production, ensuring adherence to menus, quality, and presentation standards for high-profile events.

Work closely with the Executive or Sous Chef on menu development while maintaining excellent guest service, cleanliness, and safety in a fast-paced environment. The role requires flexibility and professional appearance consistent with Omni standards.

Qualifikationen

• Reads recipes and executes meal service.
• Hands-on knowledge of food and beverage operations.
• 3–5 years cooking experience in a large convention hotel.
• Knife handling skills.
• Willing to work flexible hours including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Customer service oriented with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Proficient with payroll/scheduling and kitchen equipment software.

Aufgaben

• Maintain service standards and ensure compliance with laws.
• Support day-to-day banquet operations and food production.
• Handle food prep, plate assembly, and equipment cleaning.
• Complete sidework and maintain cleanliness of work area.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards; assist inspections.
• Maintain storage areas and equipment in safe condition.
• Assist chef with menu development and create relevant dishes.
• Attend daily standup meetings and communicate effectively.
• Provide warm guest service and address complaints.
• Ensure timely service from kitchen to banquet areas.
• Report equipment issues to Banquet Chef.
• Maintain appearance and professional demeanor.
