Job description

Join our food & beverage team as a Banquet Cook. The Banquet Cook prepares food for events, ensuring quality, safety, and timely service. They also maintain the kitchen and ensure food handling regulations are followed.

Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare ingredients like meat and vegetables
  2. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
  3. Cook food according to recipes and quality standards
  4. Prepare cold foods
  5. Operate kitchen equipment like ovens, grills, and fryers
  6. Follow food handling and safety regulations
  7. Ensure food comes out simultaneously and in high-quality
  8. Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and small wares
  9. Monitor stock inventory and order supplies when necessary
  10. Maintain and store tools and equipment
  11. Assist with the set-up and plating for meal service
  12. Assist in the cleaning and organization of walk-in coolers, freezers, and storage areas
  13. Clean up station and take care of leftover food
  14. Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
Qualifications:

To become a Banquet Cook, you may need formal education from a culinary school or equivalent cooking experience. You may also need a food handler's card.

Compensation:

$20 per hour DOE
