Cook Position

The Cook is responsible for supporting food service operations by assisting with kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, storage, and sanitation. The role involves working with the events side of the hotel.

Shift Hours

Primarily 5am-1pm, with flexibility required based on business volume. The operation runs 24/7 year-round.

Responsibilities

1. Physically deliver food products according to restaurant standards.
2. Maintain cleanliness and safety, fostering a professional environment.
3. Handle guest requests with attention and care.
4. Prepare dishes with creativity and skill.
5. Understand ingredients to accommodate dietary restrictions.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of two years of restaurant cooking experience.
2. Knowledge of sanitation, cooking techniques (e.g., sautéing, grilling), and knife skills.
3. ServSafe certification preferred.
4. Experience on the line, making soups, and managing temperature logs.
5. Culinary Arts Degree preferred.
