Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting seeks a hands-on Banquet Chef for a prestigious private country club on Florida's Treasure Coast. You will lead culinary execution across a high-volume events program, cooking alongside the team and overseeing prep for intimate member dinners to 700-guest banquets.

Role requires 3–5+ years of banquet leadership, a strong background in upscale events, and a hands-on approach. Onsite in Vero Beach with relocation assistance considered for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in banquet leadership (Banquet Sous/Chef) with banquet responsibility.
• Proven experience executing high-volume banquets with elevated food quality.
• Background in private clubs, luxury hotels/resorts, or upscale banquets.
• Hands-on experience preferred over formal degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead production for club events, private functions, golf tournaments, and member events.
• Cook hands-on with the team; active culinary leadership role, not management-only.
• Build and delegate daily prep lists to keep the kitchen ready for events.
• Supervise the banquet culinary team, maintaining quality, consistency, and timing.
• Butcher and portion proteins as needed.
• Cook and plate for events from intimate dinners to 700-guest banquets.
• Uphold food quality, presentation, and club standards.
• Maintain a clean, food-safety-compliant kitchen.
• Partner with Executive Chef on menu execution for seasonal events.
