Job summary

Thanksgiving Point is seeking a Banquet Captain to support catering and banquets at Thanksgiving Point. This part-time role involves coordinating events, leading staff, and delivering exceptional guest service.

You will work with Catering Managers and Event Managers to ensure smooth, customer-focused events. Requirements include at least one year in a high-volume restaurant or banquet setting, ability to lead a team, physical stamina, and valid food handler permit.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year experience in a high-volume restaurant or banquet facility.

Responsibilities

• Ensure front and back of the house are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Prepares Captain's Reports, detailing the function and comments of the client.
• Promotes, models, and maintains the highest level of customer service to all Thanksgiving Point guests.
• Prepare and coordinate assignments for staff assigned to each event.
• Greet client for event and stay in contact throughout the event.
• Work closely with Catering Manager, Event Managers, and Director of Food and Beverage to ensure all event details are carried out.
• Exemplify Thanksgiving Point’s Mission, Values and Policies.
• Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.
