Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Banquet Captain in the United States to supervise and assist with banquet setup, service, and cleanup, ensuring spaces meet specifications for events. The role emphasizes leading with care and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of banquet supervisory or related leadership in hospitality, flexibility for long hours, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of banquet supervisor and/or set-up houseperson leadership experience.
• Experience in food service or hospitality in a large convention center or hotel preferred.
• Must be flexible to work long hours, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct and timely setup of all BEO functions including meeting rooms and equipment.
• Assign side work duties and supervise servers and service stations.
• Operate and break down banquet spaces and store equipment properly.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all banquet areas and storage spaces.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
