Job summary

The Heathman Hotel, part of Makeready, in downtown Portland seeks a banquet operations leader to oversee room setup, direct the team, warmly welcome guests, and coordinate seating and events with precision.

You will manage staff with integrity, respond to guest and coordinator requests, ensure facilities are well-maintained, and deliver elevated service in a fast-paced environment consistent with Makeready standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in banquet management is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership and supervision capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee banquet room setup, team direction and organization.
• Warmly welcome guests and assist with seating arrangements as necessary.
• Manage team members; lead with honesty, professionalism and thoughtfulness.
• Respond to guest and coordinator requests and needs.
