Job summary

The Heathman Hotel, part of Makeready, in downtown Portland seeks a banquet operations leader to oversee room setup, direct the team, warmly welcome guests, and coordinate seating and events with precision.

You will manage staff with integrity, respond to guest and coordinator requests, ensure facilities are well-maintained, and deliver elevated service in a fast-paced environment consistent with Makeready standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in banquet management is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership and supervision capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

Requested Tasks

• Oversee banquet room set up, team direction and organization

Requested Capabilities

• Prior experience as in Banquet management highly preferred
• Prior leadership highly preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining an excellent level of service
