Job description

The Dinex Group, the restaurant management company of Chef Daniel Boulud, is seeking a Full-time/Part-time Banquet Captain.

Please note, this is an hourly position which does not typically receive gratuities.

Duties:

1. Setup and breakdown of stations
2. Food and beverage service
3. Polishing silverware and glassware
4. Steaming linen
5. Setup of coffee stations
6. Transporting and delivery of food and beverage between locations
7. Bussing dishes
8. Buffet service
9. Assist with event preparation, including rentals setup and other equipment
10. Assist the catering manager in leading the servers team

Requirements:

1. Ability to lift 50 lbs
2. Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods
3. Professional demeanor
4. Ability to understand and follow instructions given by management
5. Experience in restaurant/banquet service
6. Attention to detail
7. Understanding of SOPs of service
