Graves Hospitality is seeking a Banquet Captain for a part-time role with days varying and a schedule that will primarily be afternoons/evenings. Compensation is up to $17.37 per hour plus tips, and candidates should be flexible to work any shift.

The role involves supervising banquet staff, coordinating all aspects of banquet service, and assisting the Banquet Director in daily operations. You must adhere to hotel policies and liquor liability laws and ensure safe, clean work areas.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years Banquet experience, preferably as a Captain.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for controlling all aspects in the execution of banquet function.
• Effectively supervise the Banquet staff during all food and beverage service.
• Coordinating every aspect of the Banquet staff during all food and beverage service.
• Assist the Banquet Director in the complete operation of the Banquet Department.
• Responsible for adhering to hotel policies and procedures.
• Responsible for adhering to all liquor liability laws.
• Ensure banquet set up/take down completion.
• Must assist/conduct all designated staff/pre‑function meetings.
• Ensure work area is clean and clear of standing water, debris or any objects that can obstruct the job duties from being performed safely, efficiently and effectively.
