Mission Resort + Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, FL is seeking a Banquet Captain to lead our banquet service team during weddings, conferences, and events. This part-time, onsite leadership role focuses on coordinating setup, service, and breakdown while upholding resort standards.

You will review BEOs, guide team members, collaborate with culinary and catering, and ensure exceptional guest experiences from arrival through post-event inspections.

• Previous banquet, catering, or food and beverage service experience preferred.
• Previous experience leading or supervising a service team preferred.
• Familiarity with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and event service procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee banquet setup, service, and breakdown to ensure events meet resort standards.
• Review and execute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), ensuring all event details and guest requirements are fulfilled.
• Lead, direct, and support banquet team members throughout events.
• Coordinate with Culinary, Catering, and other resort departments to ensure seamless event execution.
• Ensure dining areas, tables, bars, food, and beverage stations are properly prepared before guest arrival.
• Monitor service quality, timing, and team performance throughout events.
• Address guest requests, concerns, and last-minute changes promptly and professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of banquet menus, food offerings, and beverage service procedures.
• Complete opening and closing duties, including event preparation and post-event inspections.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and resort service standards.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an organized, service-driven Banquet Captain to join our Banquets team!
