Responsibilities
- Satisfactorily complete the Reynolds leadership training.
- Maintain a good attendance record.
- Process banquet functions through point of sale accurately and follow all paperwork procedures.
- Supervise proper service standards in all banquet functions.
- Assist and supervise all setup and breakdown of banquet functions.
- Communicate any room or vehicle maintenance needs and follow through on completion.
- Attend weekly BEO meetings.
- Coordinate and communicate all pertinent information between Assistant Banquet Manager and banquet staff.
- Practice thorough planning using designated set-up planners, priority sheets, and checklists to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure the correct and timely setup of all banquet event orders.
- Communicate personnel needs, problems, or suggestions through captain’s reports and daily logbook entries.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the banquet space and storage areas.
- Follow proper service standards consistently.
- Enforce uniform and hygiene standards established by Reynolds.
- Assist in the orientation and training of new employees.
- Supervise staff performance.
- Participate in staff performance documentation, awards, counseling, and discipline as needed.
- Enforce company policies and procedures among staff.
- Conduct daily line-ups for all events.
- Manage meeting room setups as needed.
- Maintain and properly store audiovisual equipment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years F&B experience.
- Supervisory F&B experience preferred.
- Valid GA driver’s license with a good MVR.
- Ability to manage 5-10 employees and train effectively.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Strong multi-tasking and focus skills.
- Alertness and observance.
- Ability to perform well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Leadership and organizational skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn managerial skills.
- Well groomed with a pleasant personality.
