Imagine the excitement of an event unfolding, where every detail is crucial and every guest is anticipating a memorable experience. As the Banquet Captain, you'll play a pivotal role in turning those expectations into reality. You'll be the orchestrator behind the scenes, ensuring that each banquet runs smoothly and every guest leaves with a smile. Your leadership will guide the team, uphold the highest standards of service, and ensure that every event is executed flawlessly.

Your Role

As the Banquet Captain, you’ll be at the heart of our events. Your mission is to oversee the setup and execution of banquets, ensuring every detail aligns with guest expectations and our hotel’s high standards. Here are some of the things you’ll do:

• Maintain knowledge of each function, from guest profiles to special requests, and ensure everything is set up according to the event specifications.
• Lead the setup and breakdown of banquet spaces according to event specifications, including furniture arrangement, décor, and buffet or bar setup.
• Ensure replenishment of items as specified on event orders and requested by group contact.
• Monitor and address guest complaints
• Attend pre-event meetings and communicate effectively with the Sales and Culinary teams.
• Assist with inventories as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in a banquet service role.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
