Job summary

Wyndham San Diego Bayside, an HEI Hotels & Resorts property, is seeking a Banquet Bartender to assist the Banquet Manager in serving guests during functions. On-site role with duties including setting up bars, preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring beverage safety and compliance.

The position emphasizes guest interaction, accurate beverage service, and adherence to state and company policies, with benefits including meal provisions and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience or similar preferred.
• Must communicate well with guests.
• Must have basic knowledge of service of various alcoholic beverages.
• Current Food Handler Card and current RBS Alcohol Server Certification

Responsibilities

• Check Banquet Event Orders to determine function, number of guests and bar type.
• Set up portable bar in function area according to standard policies and procedures.
• Make and serve drinks to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner following guidelines.
• Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
• Break down, clean bar thoroughly; return all equipment and supplies to proper area.
• Maintain cleanliness and attend to guests as needed.
