Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina in Hawaii is seeking an On-Call Banquet Bartender with a passion for excellence and aloha spirit. The role requires luxury hospitality experience, English fluency, and strong guest-service skills to support bar operations and banquet events.

You will work under the Director of Banquets, preparing wines, spirits, and cocktails, handling guest orders, and maintaining Four Seasons standards in a high-end resort setting.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Candidates should have at least 2 years experience in a similar luxury position.
• Must possess strong communication and computer skills.
• Service passion and guest focus are essential.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills required.
• Must have legal work authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks per menu and Four Seasons standards.
• Confirm guest orders with lounge server using the POS system and check accuracy.
• Take orders from bar guests and describe items’ origin, taste and preparation methods.
• Anticipate guest needs, ensure satisfaction, and address concerns promptly.
• Close guest checks, process payments, and balance transactions.

Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina is looking for a On-Call Banquet Bartender who has a passion for excellence and the spirit of aloha.

The Banquet Bartender reports to the Director of Banquets and serves guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of wine spirits and mixed drinks as well as information regarding preparation methods.

What you will do:

• Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.
• Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest’s original order.
• Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.

What you will bring:

• Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Candidates should have at least 2 years previous experience in a similar position in a luxury environment.
• Must be experienced in the areas of communication and computer skills.
