Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina is seeking an On Call Overnight Room Service Server with a passion for excellence. You will deliver in-room service, greet guests, and ensure timely service while working under the Room Service Manager.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of luxury experience, strong English, and solid communication and computer skills, with keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Includes industry perks and a welcoming, high-end environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders to guests in-room and check accuracy against original orders.

• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests and concerns.
• Close guest checks accurately with room number and signature.
• Maintain organization and readiness of overnight tasks for the AM shift.

Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina is looking for an On Call Overnight Room Service Server who has a passion for excellence and the spirit of aloha.

The Overnight Room Service Server reports to the Room Service Manager and serves guestsneeds by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods. The Overnight Server must maintain a level of independence and discipline to complete necessary tasks in order for the rest of the department to be successful.

What you will do:

• Deliver food orders including any special needs or requests to the guest in-room, check completed kitchen orders with the order taker or guest’s original order; transport items to the guestroom in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
• Greet guests, describe selected items to the guest using interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicate options for removal of trays and dishware; respond to request for tray removal according to established time standards.
• Breakdown, clean and set-up of room service tables, condiment set-ups, flatware, dishware, and room service side stations.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks securing room number and signature; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals
• Maintain organization and discipline in completing overnight task list, preparation for AM shift, setting up daily operation for success

What you will bring:

• Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Candidates should have at least 1 year previous experience in a similar position in a luxury environment.
• Must be experienced in the areas of communication and computer skills.
