Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina is seeking an On-Call Banquet Bartender with a passion for excellence and aloha spirit. The role supports guest services by providing wine, spirits, and crafted drinks knowledge, and seamless service in a luxury resort setting.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of luxury hospitality experience, fluent English, strong communication and computer skills, and legal eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar luxury environment.
• Strong communication and computer skills in daily operations.
• Must have legal work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and drinks per menu and Four Seasons standards.
• Process orders and verify accuracy with the lounge server and POS system.
• Describe items with detail to guests, including origin, taste and preparation.
• Anticipate guest needs, address concerns promptly, and provide recommendations.
• Close guest checks and process payments accurately.

Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina is looking for a On-Call Banquet Bartender who has a passion for excellence and the spirit of aloha. The Banquet Bartender reports to the Director of Banquets and serves guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of wine spirits and mixed drinks as well as information regarding preparation methods.

What You Will Do

• Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.
• Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest’s original order.
• Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.

What You Will Bring

• Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Candidates should have at least 2 years previous experience in a similar position in a luxury environment.
• Must be experienced in the areas of communication and computer skills.
