Job summary

Reynolds Lake Oconee is seeking a banquet bartender to serve beverages to members and guests per our standards. You will provide friendly, efficient service, perform opening/closing tasks, and ensure accurate billing via POS or member accounts.

The role requires six months bartending experience, a neat appearance, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and the stamina to work through diverse events in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Neat appearance and professional demeanor.
• Working knowledge of drinks and bar service.
• Outgoing personality and ability to engage with members.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Minimum six months bartending experience or equivalent training.
• Able to walk and stand through the shift.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• To serve beverages (alcoholic & non-alcoholic) to members and guests per Reynolds standards.
• Provide efficient, courteous beverage service to all members and guests.
• Complete opening and closing side work per schedule.
• Ensure proper billing for members and guests using member accounts or POS.
• Keep bar neat; stock beer, wine, ice, glasses; garnish as needed for events.
• Load/unload bar products and equipment for events.
• Maintain cleanliness of the banquet liquor room.
• Report shortages to Lead Banquet Bartender or Senior Banquet Manager.
• Check IDs on alcohol sales; adhere to schedule and event changes.
• Attend scheduled training and staff meetings; perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Provides efficient, courteous beverage service to all members and guests
• Does all required opening and closing side work per the schedule.
• Ensure proper billing for members and guests by using member account numbers or credit card sales through POS system.
• Keeps the bar neat, beer and wine coolers stocked, ice bins filled, glasses polished and stored, and fruit stocked for garnish per event.
• Load and unload bar products and bar equipment needed for an event.
• Always maintain cleanliness of banquet liquor room.
• Reports any product shortages or items needed to Lead Banquet Bartender or Senior Banquet Manager.
• Checks Id’s on alcohol sales.
• Adheres to posted schedule, making notes of time, attire, and location.
• Adheres to schedule changes due to event changes.
• Attends scheduled training classes and staff meetings as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Schedule:

• Food & Beverage operates 6-7 days per week based on scheduled events. As needed, Food & Beverage employees must be available for overtime hours.
